What happens in a Video Feedback session with Carlyn?
We begin by reviewing the goals we discussed in my pre-session phone consultation with you. Then we film real interactions between us that are relevant to your goals. Then we view and constructively discuss what you see in our recordings. We may record and watch several clips in one session. This cycle of four steps:
1) recording the interaction you want to improve
2) viewing and pausing to discuss incongruent moments
3) discerning exactly how you want to change
4) recording improved versions of the same interaction
generates a positive feedback loop. The loop shows you meeting your expectations and, usually, surpassing them. This remarkably fast process makes Video Feedback Coaching an efficient and cost-effective resource.
